Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By connecting a mailbox to EmailRefresh, you agree to these terms. EmailRefresh is currently operating as a closed test — features, limits, and availability may change as the product develops.

2. What you're authorizing

When you connect a Google, Microsoft, or Yahoo mailbox, you authorize EmailRefresh to read your mail metadata and content, and to take the actions you configure (archiving, deleting, marking read/unread, or — where you've enabled it — automatically archiving mail via rules or AI Autopilot). You're responsible for the rules and automations you turn on; EmailRefresh acts exactly as instructed.

By connecting to your email account, you authorize EmailRefresh to:

• Access your email metadata and content required to provide requested features.
• Analyze senders and subscription messages.
• Perform delete, archive, unsubscribe, and organization actions as selected by you.

3. Account plans and limits

EmailRefresh offers different plan tiers with different limits (such as the number of connected mailboxes). Billing and subscription management are not yet active during this closed test — no payment is currently collected.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use EmailRefresh to:

• Access a mailbox you're not authorized to access.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
• Use the service in violation of Google's, Microsoft's, or Yahoo's own terms of service for their mail platforms.

5. Automation and AI features

Automation rules, AI Autopilot, and Digest Mode take actions on your mailbox automatically once enabled, based on the settings you configure (e.g. an inactivity threshold, or a rule condition). AI categorization is provided by a third-party model (Google Gemini) and may occasionally categorize a message incorrectly. You can review, adjust, or disable any of these features at any time, and shield specific senders from automated action via VIP Shield.

6. Availability

EmailRefresh is provided during this closed test on an "as-is" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and background processing (syncing, categorization, automations) depends on the connected mail provider's own API availability as well as ours.

7. Termination

You may disconnect your mailbox and stop using EmailRefresh at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops during and after the closed test. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated revision date.
